Our school provides opportunities for students in grades 4-8 to participate in team sports. The schedule below provides a rough snapshot of when these sports are available.

Clubs
Our school offers several clubs to extend learning outside of the classroom. Stay tuned for more information about our bands, math club, HELP club, and robotics club.
Robotics Club
The Junior and Intermediate Robotics Club is open to all grade 4 to 8 students at Broadview PS. The club operates after school on every Tuesday of the month, with the exception of the second Tuesday when there is a staff meeting, from 3:45 - 5:15 pm, in the school library and adjoining atrium. The club is team-based and centred primarily around Lego robotics, although there may also be scope to introduce Arduino projects if the students are interested. Students learn to build robots using components from kits and program them using icon-based software. The robots are designed to accomplish tasks and solve challenges. Problem solving, logical thinking, and fun are emphasized. The club is run by parent volunteers, Barbara and John Bainbridge, and staff members, Virginia Harrison and Frank Laurin.
Intermediate Band
Grade 8 Concert Band rehearses on Wednesdays before school (downbeat at 8:15 am sharp). Music ensemble extracurriculars for Grade 7 students will begin later this fall. For more updates from the music department, please visit Monsieur Coutu's website. ♪
