Hot Lunches is Broadview’s online pizza ordering and communication
system. All students (K-Gr 8) can order weekly pizza each Thursday. The program offers a choice of cheese or pepperoni pizza slices. Pizza slices are delivered to your student’s classroom at the start of the 1st nutrition break at 11:15am.
Pizza is ordered in three sessions:
- Fall session will be September 28, 2023 - January 18, 2024. Deadline to order September 24, 2023 at midnight.
- Winter session will be January 25, 2024 - March 28, 2024. Deadline to order January 21, 2024.
- Spring session will be April 4, 2024 - June 20, 2024. Deadline to order March 31, 2024.

Ordering Information:
All orders must be placed using the online ordering system. Using Hot Lunches allows Broadview’s school council to accurately track and account for the funds we collect, while also making the job of delivering pizza to nearly 1000 students a much easier job for the parent volunteers. You may order one session at a time or for the entire school year.
Ordering deadline:
The order/payment deadline for Fall Session (September 28 - January 18) is Sunday, September 24.
How to register and place and order:
Parents must register for an new account each year (personal info is deleted at the end of each school year to protect your privacy).
To register and begin placing student orders online, please follow these steps:
- Visit broadview.hotlunches.net
- Create a new account by selecting “Click Here to Register” under the Login button. You will need the school access code, which you should have received via email. This is a security measure.
- Select PROFILE, then Add Students to add a child and select their class. Repeat for each student.
- Select the ORDERS–>Student orders–> and select the black “Order” button for the correct pizza session tab. Select cheese or pepperoni pizza and the number of slices (max 2 per student).

PLEASE NOTE: “Share a slice” is also an option this year. Choose this option if you would like to donate a slice of pizza each week for the Winter session for a child in need.
