BPS School Council runs a number of fundraising initiatives each year in order to raise money for various activities throughout the school year to complement and enrich the educational experience of our students.

Fundraising activities include the following for 2023-2024:

• Welcome Back Broadview - September 21

• Family Dance - June

Welcome Back Broadview is just a week away, directly after the Meet the Staff event. It is the first school event to kick off the new school year and is organized by the School Council. It is an ideal opportunity to reconnect, make new friends and have FUN! 

Activities include large yard games (football toss, baseball toss, giant soccer darts, giant snakes and ladders, giant battleship, giant Lego, soft jenga and many more), face painting, photo booth, a bubble artist and 3v3 Basketball Tournament (Grade 6 -8). 

Food will be available for purchase from: Hot Dogs n’ More, Taco Girl, Mr Sundae, and Maverick’s Donuts (cash and tap accepted). Pizza (House of Pizza) and Aladdin's (meat, cheese, and meat & cheese pies) will be available to pre-order via hot lunches website and a small quantity will be available to purchase at the event (cash only). Additional food (purchased night of cash only) will be: drinks (pop, water, iced tea, bubble), chips, candy bags, cotton candy and popcorn! We hope to see you there!

Calling all basketball enthusiasts!  We’re in search of volunteers to ref for our upcoming Welcome Back Broadview 3 on 3 basketball tournament (Grade 6 -8 students). If you have a passion for the game and a keen eye for the rules….or even a marginal notion of the rules and a passion for kids having fun…we’d love to have you on board. Your support will be instrumental in ensuring an exciting and successful tournament.
